Uttara Kalamrita : Section VI: Sloka 42 : Solar Return Chart and predictions for Lagna

In the dasha of the lagna or ascendant the results can be good, average or bad as per the drekkana of the ascendant, associations of the lagna lord and the yogas that the lagna lord is forming.

In general the predictions and forecast should be given based on the strength of the planet, associations with benefics or malefics.

Uttara Kalamrita : Section VI: Sloka 41 : Solar Return Chart and predictions for Saturn, Rahu

a) If Saturn is strong, there will be gains of house property, happiness, if Saturn is weak there will be loss of wealth, wasting diseases, bad name.

b) In case of a strong Rahu, native does good acts, gains and rise in profession. Malefic rahu gives unauspicious results such as death of father, association with bad company and enmity.

a) If Jupiter is strong, there will be gains of vehicles,horses, increase in wealth, if Jupiter is weak there will be wanderings, loss of money, evil ways.

b) In case of a strong Venus, wealth and fame should be predicted, good clothes and happiness from wife / women folk.

In case of weak venus, loss of wealth, fear from enemies, diseases through women should be predicted.

a) If Mars is strong, there will be favors from royalty, success and happiness, if Mars is weak there will be fear from royalty, quarrels with sons, enmity with spouse, loss of money.

b) In case of a strong Mercury, valorous, happiness and gains should be forecast.In case of a weak mercury there will be enmity with brothers, the native will be treacherous towards brahmins and elders, the native will be prone to do evil acts.

a) If sun is strong, there will be gain of money, ornaments and clothes if Sun is weak there will be increase in enemies, loss of money and troubles and suffering should be predicted for the native.

b) In case of a strong moon, favours from royality, increase in wealth and honour should be forecast. In case of a weak moon there will be an increase in enemies, diseases and unhappiness, there will also be changes in place and fights in the family.

To arrive at accurate predictions and forecasts based on horoscope one needs to study the transit in parallel with

the Solar Return Chart. The Gochara or transit is studied based on the position from the natal moon.

A combination of the solar return chart and gochara should be used for predictions.

Uttara Kalamrita : Section VI: Sloka 34, 35,36 : Solar Return Chart

when the Sun returns to the same position as in the natal horoscope to the same degree, minute and second, that is the solar return day of year for the native.

Calculate the houses and planets based on the time of the solar return, this horoscope is called the varshphala or the solar return horoscope.

Calculate the sapta vargas for the time. Calculate the strength of the planets based on the above the yearly prediction of the native is to be forecast.

Count from the natal start to the moon constellation on the solar return day, divide this by nine, the remainder is  counted from the sun to arrive at the dasha sequence.

The order for dasha sequence is Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, Venus.

The horoscope analysis, predictions and forecast for the native is to be done based on the strength of the planets, the houses, the lagna (ascendant) and the dasha running.
