Uttara Kalamrita : Section VI: Sloka 39 : Solar Return Chart and predictions for Mars and Mercury

a) If Mars is strong, there will be favors from royalty, success and happiness, if Mars is weak there will be fear from royalty, quarrels with sons, enmity with spouse, loss of money.

b) In case of a strong Mercury, valorous, happiness and gains should be forecast.In case of a weak mercury there will be enmity with brothers, the native will be treacherous towards brahmins and elders, the native will be prone to do evil acts.

To arrive at accurate predictions and forecasts based on horoscope one needs to study the transit in parallel with

the Solar Return Chart. The Gochara or transit is studied based on the position from the natal moon.

A combination of the solar return chart and gochara should be used for predictions.

Uttara Kalamrita : Section VI: Sloka 31 : Sun (Surya) and Saturn (shani) Dasha

This sloka provides details on the results of dashas of Saturn and Sun.

a) When Sun and saturn are in their own signs or exaltation signs.

b) and They are in Trikona or Kendra Positions

c) Or they own the Trikona or Kendra Houses

Then in Saturn Mahadasha and sun Antara the native gets wealth, happiness and Favours from ruling class.

In Saturn Antara in Sun's Mahadasha, the native again has happiness, wealth and achieves success.

However if the two planets are malefics in the horoscope of the native, the prediction / forecast for the native would be losses.
